Bensimon Store in Garosugil + Bensimon 19 s/s Launching Party this Friday (March 22nd)
A couple of weeks ago, I was chosen as one of Bensimon’s social media supporters. Some of you might have heard about Bensimon but for those of you haven’t, Bensimon is a French lifestyle brand which was launched in 1975 and has since gained popularity all over the world. They’re mostly known for their tennis shoes, but they also sell other products such as clothes and accessories. Last year, they finally opened their first store in Seoul, South Korea.
At Bensimon Korea in Garosugil, you’ll not only find a wide range of products, but there’s also a cafe and a restaurant inside the store, which means that you’ll definitely not be left hungry ;). I could spend hours inside this beautifully decorated store! But let the pictures speak for themselves:
I also got to try some of the desserts they sell at their cafe, creme brulee and tiramisu (both are very delicious btw ;):
If you’re interested in visiting the store and check out their products, I actually have some great news for you: this Friday March 22nd, Bensimon will hold a launching party for their newest collection from 3pm to 10pm! Just come by and have a look at the brand new Bensimon goods 😉
If you don’t have time on Friday, you can always visit during their regular shop hours. The Bensimon store is open from 11am to 10pm everyday. Here’s the address: 서울 강남구 압구정로14길 30
Apgujeong-ro 14-gil 30, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Also, don’t forget to check out Bensimon Korea’s Instagram account 🙂

Bensimon 19 s/s Launching Party
On March 22nd, Bensimon held their 19 s/s collection launching party at the Bensimon flagship store in Garosugil.
Bensimon is a French lifestyle brand which was launched in 1975 and has since gained popularity all over the world. They’re mostly known for their tennis shoes, but they also sell other products such as clothes and accessories. Last year, they finally opened their first store in Seoul, South Korea.
At the party, Bensimon introduced their newest products by showcasing them all across the store. They also offered discounts on their older collections.
They had a number of different events, such as a lucky draw and they also gave out free beer and snacks to visitors. However, the snacks were gone so fast that I wasn’t even able to take a picture of them.. I saw other people’s photos on Instagram, though, and they looked really yummy~
My personal highlight of the party was meeting one of the Bensimon brothers, Serge Bensimon, who came all the way to Korea to check out the flagship store in Seoul! I managed to take a selfie with him:
This was actually my first time at an event of that sort but I definitely enjoyed having a look at Bensimon’s newest collection but also meeting my fellow social media supporters again 🙂
If you want to visit the Bensimon flagship store (which I definitely recommend), here’s the address:
서울 강남구 압구정로 14길 30
Apgujeong-ro 14-gil 30, Gangnam-gu, Seoul (it’s actually quite close to Apgujeong station, exit 4 or 5)

Happy Ears Natural Sound Earplugs Review
Last week, Bensimon sent me a great item that helped me through my midterm exams: Happy Ears earplugs. Happy Ears started as a Kickstarter campaign and now they sell their products worldwide.
What are Happy Ears? Happy Ears are natural sound ear plugs which are meant to reduce sound approximately 25 dB at all frequencies. This means that Happy Ears can help you focus while you’re studying or they can even help you relax while travelling 🙂 You can also use them in the swimming pool or at the beach because Happy Ears are waterproof!
They’re available in 3 different sizes: S, M and L. I tried on size L and they fit me a bit loosely so I think if you’re an average sized girl like me M should be perfect 🙂 The best part though is that they come in an adorable heart-shaped case and they’re reusable! If you regularly wash them with warm water and soap they can last up to 3 months.
I never actually liked earplugs that much and although Happy Ears are definitely a better option than regular earplugs, I still couldn’t quite get used to them (maybe it’ll take some time, who knows). However, if you’re looking for a little helper to get you through your exams or just want to unwind and disconnect from the real world, you should give Happy Ears a try 😉
